Candle Care & Safety

Please read these guidelines and warnings for proper candle care & safety:

  • Burn within sight. Never leave a lit candle unattended. Extinguish the flame before leaving a room.
  • Do not burn for more than 4 hours at a time. Allow the candle to cool for at least 2 hours before relighting.
This helps prevent overheating of the container and surrounding surfaces.
  • Keep away from flammable objects such as curtains, paper, and fabrics.
  • Keep away from children and pets.
  • Burn on a stable, heat-resistant surface away from other heat sources.
  • Remove all debris before each lighting, as debris may become a fire hazard.
  • Trim wick to ⅛ inch before each burn to reduce soot and ensure an even burn.
  • Avoid burning in drafty areas such as near windows, vents, or fans.
  • Discontinue use when ½ inch of wax remains at the bottom of the container.
Continuing to burn beyond this point may cause overheating or glass breakage.
  • Store candles in a cool, dry place away from sunlight and moisture. Do not refrigerate or freeze.
  • Extinguish with a candle snuffer. Blowing may cause hot wax to splatter.
  • Never use water to extinguish a candle.
  • Do not handle hot containers. Allow candle to cool before moving.

Always burn candles responsibly and never leave them unattended.
